Happy Anniversary To SGGT!
This week marks the 3rd anniversary of SGGT moving to our custom built studios at Swanston Golf Club.
Starting with the Lyle Studio, we added the Hogan Studio for irons in 2020 and then outdoor wedge fitting for the complete tour fitting experience for amateur golfers.
With over 5,000 fittings completed at Swanston, I would like to thank all our loyal customers for your support and we look forward to dialing in more golfers in the years to come!

Cobra LTDx Driver Now In Lyle Studio
Cobra drivers have always been one of the most forgiving faces in the market and the LTDx continues this trend.
The 2022 model features a multi-material construction with a 15g internal weight positioned further forward in the head to increase ball speed and reduce spin. This is counterbalanced by a 15g back weight to increase launch for the ideal launch conditions.
There are 3 different head styles from the standard LTDx, low spin LTDx LS and the extra forgiving LTDx Max. Which one is right for you? Can it beat your current driver. See our initial test results below and book your fitting in the Lyle Studio to find out!
1st Impressions Cobra LTDx Driver In Lyle Studio
The Cobra LTDx is faring very well in initial fittings so this could be one of the drivers to watch this year. We checked out the 3 different heads to see how they would benefit our resident 8-handicapper Bruce.

Starting with the most forgiving 10.5° LTDx Max head, he was getting some decent numbers but the dispersion could be better.
Switching to the standard LTDx head in 10.5° saw a slight drop in spin, but by switching to the 9° loft we saw over 9 yards distance gains from a 700 rpm drop in spin.
We also saw a similar gain from the 10.5° loft version of the lower spinning LTDx LS head. However when trying that in 9.0° the lower launching head did not get as much benefit from the low spin flight so the carry was down.

So which one to go for? Ultimately this comes down to player preference for feel, but also accuracy and the 9° LTDx had a tighter dispersion so that was the best head for Bruce.
Because the Lyle Studio has all three Cobra LTDx models in all available lofts we are able to test every option and in this fitting gained Bruce over 9 yards!
To test your gamer against the Cobra LTDx or any of the other brands we have in stock, book a fitting in the Lyle Studio today and see the distance you can gain!
