Custom Tour Wedge Fitting On Real Greens
Our custom wedge fitting process combines hitting chips and pitches outdoors from grass around our chipping green and then combines this with Trackman data in the studio to get the right gaps for your lofts.
SGGT stocks wedges from all the major manufacturers including including Artisan, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Ping, Titleist Vokey and TaylorMade. Using our fitting system we can combine any head with a range of over 20 specialist wedge shafts to dial in your yardages and lower your scores.
How We Custom Fit Wedges
Starting with your highest desired loft we dial in the bounce that gives the most consistent trajectory and distance.
With wedges from the major manufacturers covering lofts from 46° to 62° and a multitude of grinds, it is vital to get the right combination of loft and bounce to ensure that you have every distance and type of shot covered for your game.
Wedge Custom Fitting On Our Outdoor Green
If your highest loft is a lob wedge, then we would go through the outdoor process again for your sand wedge to establish the correct bounce again before moving onto the gap wedges.
Then we take your highest lofted wedge into the Hogan Studio to hit full shots on Trackman to see the maximum distance you are comfortable hitting it. We then compare that to the distance of your set wedge to determine the distance gap that needs to be filled by any remaining wedges.
During the session you can also test different types of grips with our golf grip custom fitting service. Choose the grip you want and our air compressor can blow grips on and off so you can try it immediately.
Building Your Perfect Set Of Wedges
Once your perfect set of wedges is created, the details are passed over to our in-house workshop to be built on site to the tightest tolerances in the minimum amount of time with SST Pure shafts if requested.
