Callaway Rogue ST Driver Lands In Lyle Studio
31 January 2022
The Callaway Rogue ST driver is built around increased stability and maximum speed. The new Tungsten Speed Cartridge structure places up to 26 grams low and deep in the driver head. This increases speed on off-center hits and provides more forgiveness through high MOI.
The titanium unibody construction provides stability and lowers the center of gravity, while the Triaxial Carbon crown and sole saves weight. This weight is precisely redistributed to increase forgiveness with high launch and a slight draw bias.

How Lyle Studio & Rogue ST Gained 15 Yards For Bruce
When new driver technology like the Callaway ST Rogue arrives we are keen to get clients in to the Lyle Studio to see how it can benefit them.
One of the first people in for a Callaway Rogue ST fitting was Bruce, an 8 handicap player with a driver club head speed of around 100 mph. His experience illustrates the wide range of options that we have in the Lyle Studio to dial in the options available with a driver like the Rogue ST.

Starting with the most forgiving 10.5° Rogue ST Max head, his ball speed was 146.2 mph and carry was 233 yards. Not bad, but the spin was too high so we changed to the 9º head and dropped the spin by 150 rpm and gained a few yards. Still not bad, but it could be better.
Switching to the lower spin Rogue ST Max LS head in 10.5° took spin down by another 500 rpm, increased ball speed by 1mph and carry by 10 yards over the standard head. Now we are getting there!
Changing to the lower loft 9° Rogue ST Max LS head increased ball speed by a further 2mph, dropped spin by another 300 rpm and gained another 5 yards carry, with a tighter dispersion too. Result!
Because the Lyle Studio has both Rogue ST models in all available lofts we are able to test every option and in this fitting gained Bruce over 15 yards!
