Callaway Jaws Goes Raw As LA Golf Comes To Town

Callaway Jaws Goes Raw
Just when you thought it was safe...Callaway bring out the latest version of the Jaws wedge and this time the feeling is raw. That is because the Jaws Raw face has been left un-chromed to rust to maximise the roughness over time.
Scott met with Callaway designer Roger Cleveland at the launch before the Genesis Scottish Open at Renaissance and got some great insights. The rest of the head is chromed because feedback from the Tour said that this helped the head skip through the sand more easily.
Roger added: "The raw face finish also helps as the groove edges are sharper as they don't have the chrome plating on them. Get some good advice and make sure the head, shaft and grip is right for you then it will last you a long time because it will be proper for you. I would also go for a round grip rather than one with a spine, so you can easily open the face and it feels the same in your hands."
We couldn't agree more so to get your ultimate set of Callaway Jaws Raw wedges come and book a wedge fitting session.
This Is LA Golf Shafts
LA Golf shafts has joined the roster of nearly 400 custom golf shaft options that SGGT stock for drivers, fairways and hybrids.
LA Golf philosophy is to create shafts for those who like to swing as hard as possible and let the shaft do the rest. They have also been part of Bryson DeChambeau's team as he redefined long driving on the tour.
However it is not just for tour players as SGGT fitter James explains, "LA Golf shafts are smooth and very stable at any speed. In the Lyle Studio we now have the DJ and Bryon Series for aggressive swingers and the A Series, which will suit players of any swing speed who need more control."
To see if LA Golf shaft will work in your existing driver, or a new one, just book a fitting in our Lyle Studio.
