Driver, Fairway Wood & Hybrid Custom Shaft Fitting
When you come for a driver fitting, fairway fitting, driving utility iron fitting or hybrid fitting, you will end up with some form of lightweight graphite shaft. These vary in torque, flex and stiffness at different points on the shaft so it is crucial to get the right one to optimise the performance of your head.
If you are struggling with distance, feel or accuracy, we can retro fit a new shaft on to your existing head and adjust your wood's settings to optimise the performance of your club.
SGGT has over 440 wood shafts to choose from and is the only location in Scotland that can SST Pure your wood shaft to maximise its consistently and stability during impact.
During the session you can also test different types of grips with our grip fitting service. Choose the grip you want and our air compressor can blow grips on and off so you can try it immediately.

Iron And Wedge Shaft Custom Fitting
Irons and wedges are your scoring clubs and therefore the consistency and accuracy of your shafts is crucial. Steel shafts are getting lighter to maximise speed and new graphite shaft technologies mean that these lighter shafts can now offer options for fast as well as medium to slow swing speeds.
With a choice of over 85 iron shafts for 4, 6, 8 and PW in each head SGGT offers a comprehensive iron custom fitting service right through the bag in our Hogan Studio.
Our wedge custom fitting service offers a choice of over 80 specific wedge shafts that offer different levels of spin and trajectory so that you can dial in these scoring clubs for greater accuracy.
As with the woods, SGGT can SST Pure iron and wedge shafts and test different types of grips with our golf grip custom fitting service.
